The 1st openart Lausitz Biennale kicks off on July 31 with an opening event at the Atelierhof Werenzhain. Over the course of several weeks, the biennale will transform Lower Lusatia into an open art space and showcase contemporary artworks at extraordinary locations throughout the region.

The opening event marks the official start of the Biennale and offers a first glimpse into the curatorial concept and the artistic focal points of the program. It invites attendees to get to know the art, the artists, and the exhibition venues, and to engage with one another.

The highlight is a performance by the golde g dance company, whose work will take place throughout the entire venue and artistically kick off the evening.

Afterward, we invite you to enjoy a relaxed conclusion to the opening evening with drinks, finger food, and musical accompaniment.

The Atelierhof in Werenzhain is wheelchair accessible.
