The Openart Lausitz Biennale is a place of encounter, diversity and open dialogue. Together with the local community, we aim to bring about positive social change.
Art, architecture and regional development serve as bridges for a vibrant dialogue.
Our values: diversity and respect
We stand for a democratic, tolerant and inclusive society. Everyone is welcome here and treated as equals – regardless of their background, faith, age, gender, sexual identity, level of education or physical abilities. We act strictly in accordance with the principles of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
Zero tolerance for discrimination
A safe and supportive environment is our top priority. Individual boundaries must be respected by all participants at all times.
We do not tolerate any form of:
- Sexism, racism, anti-Semitism or ableism
- Homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia or classism
- Bullying, abuse of power, sexual harassment or verbal and physical assault
To whom and where does this agreement apply?

We are vigilant and take action
