Bob Budd is a British sculptor and land art artist based in Devon, United Kingdom. He studied fine arts at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and art and ecology at Dartington College of Arts, and also completed training in film and television production as well as architectural glass. He is a committee member of the Artists in Nature International Network. 

Budd has created numerous temporary, site-specific installations in public spaces and natural landscapes, including in Flensburg, Lille, Carinthia, and Ypres. In addition, he has created permanent works of art for public buildings and spaces, including the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter (United Kingdom), the Diocesan House in Speyer, and for sculpture trails in Leogang and Mandarfen (Austria). His works have been exhibited internationally, including at the Collins Gallery in Glasgow, the National Glass Museum in Romont, the Centre International du Vitrail in Chartres, the Europahaus in Klagenfurt, and the Main Customs Office in Munich. 

Work Title: Agriculture Made Easy

The project Agriculture Made Easy addresses the challenges of modern agriculture in Brandenburg, where sandy soils are increasingly losing their fertility and water-retention capacity. Inspired by the principles of regenerative agriculture, the design features a lightweight, soil-conserving device: A central axle supports spades and shovels arranged in a ring, which can be rotated by hand by several people. Although this prototype would be impractical in real life, it functions as an artistic object that draws attention to issues such as soil compaction, dependence on heavy machinery, and the need for collaborative solutions.
